Chrome Cookie Usage

Cookies are software files found on websites you are a visitor to. It saves browsing data from your site visit, including your personal data, to facilitate your online experience. Thanks to the use of cookies, Chrome can keep you logged in to sites, set your preferences in site cookies, and deliver content that interests you. There are two types of chrome cookies available:

1. First party cookies: created by the sites you visit. They are displayed in the address bar. 2. Third party cookies: created by other sites. These sites contain the ads you see on the web pages you visit.

How does Google use cookies?

The use of cookies in Google Chrome is intended to facilitate the actions you take later by saving website information. Cookies have an important role to play in this regard. Google Chrome stores cookies to create safe search preferences, show ads for the areas you are interested in, register for services more easily and protect your data.

Chrome can choose to delete existing cookies, allow or block all cookies, and set preferences for some websites as you wish.

  • Delete, enable, and manage Chrome cookies
  • How to delete chrome cookies
  • When you use the chrome cookie removal feature, you will delete all cookies, close your current saved sessions, and delete your saved chrome cookie usage preferences.

If you want to use the chrome cookie cleaning feature on your computer, go to the “settings” section after opening the chrome application. Click on “cookies and other site data” located just below the “privacy and security” section, then click on the “show all site and cookie data” button and then “remove all”.

When you confirm all these actions, chrome will have completed the cookie deletion process.

In Chrome cookie settings, you can allow cookies used by websites or choose which ones to allow. You can block or allow all existing cookies.

You can block third party cookies on another site while allowing it on a particular site. After opening the Chrome application, go to the “settings” section. Then click on “cookies and other site data” in the “privacy and security” section. Here you will find four different options. These are; allow all cookies, block all cookies, block third-party cookies in incognito mode or third-party cookies.

If you block third-party cookies, even if you allow the site in the exceptions section, all cookies and site data from other sites will also be blocked.

If you want to use chrome cookie activation for a specific site

After going to the “privacy and security” section, click on “sites that can always use cookies”, “always clear cookies when windows are closed” or “sites that can never use cookies” or “sites that can never use cookies”. If you want to remove an exception that you don't want, click “remove” in the “other” section.

To easily use your accounts, you need to turn on cookies. After opening the Chrome app, click on “cookies” in the “settings” section and use chrome to turn cookies off or on. When you delete the data that is in your google chrome accounts, they immediately begin to remove the existing data from the site. Cookies that are immediately removed from view can no longer be used on the personalization side. For example, a video you watched on YouTube will not show where you were last or what minute you stayed.

Next, the deletion processes in the storage system begin. The main purpose of safe data deletion is to protect against data loss. These processes usually take 2 months after confirmation of the chrome cookie deletion process. There is also a one-month recovery period in case of unintentional deletion of data. Data in backup storage areas will be completely deleted after being stored for another 6 months.

Data is collected in all chrome services. What data it collects and where it uses it is described in its “privacy policy” section. If we sort the information that is held until you remove it:

  • personal information
  • Items in the My Activity section
  • photos and documents
  • your products in your google account
  • your google accounts

These are all stored until you choose to remove them. Data that gives you information about how users interact on chrome and how to improve services is stored until you delete your google account. For example, when you delete a search in the My Activity section, data can be stored on how often you search. When you delete your Google account completely, all data is deleted, including your search frequency.

While some people prefer not to allow cookies, most browsers provide the ability to personalize cookies. As some browsers may restrict and delete cookies, you may want to adjust settings such as cookies/ads. In the Chrome cookie usage area, you can create rules to be able to manage cookies on a site-by-site basis. This allows you to create precise settings for the privacy of your personal data. In this case, you can block cookies from sites other than the sites you choose as you wish.

The option to clear browsing data from the tools section of the Google chrome browser is available. When you use this option, you can delete all data and plugins, including data stored with adobe flash player. Another feature regarding the use of cookies in Chrome is the incognito mode. You can use this mode so that no data records occur as a result of your website visits or after file downloads. All cookies formed in incognito mode are deleted as soon as the hidden pincers are closed.
